There is no doubt that Omega 3 supplements like Krill Oil and Fish Oil provide you with significant health benefits. These health benefits extend far beyond weight loss and muscle building and can include pain relief and reduced inflammation.

Cost may also play a role in your decision-making process. Due to the complexities of the manufacturing process, krill oil supplements can cost up to ten times more for the same dose as fish oil supplements.

Since fish oil supplements are significantly cheaper than krill oil supplements you might find fish oil supplements to be a more cost-effective option.

The Verdict

It might seem simple to choose the less expensive option and go for fish oil. But, you may also want to consider the additional benefits that come from taking a krill oil supplement, like higher potency, a smaller pill size, and the additional the addition of the antioxidant astaxanthin.

Only you can decide which one is the best supplement for you. You might not want to pay the higher price for a krill oil supplement and decide to go with a less expensive fish oil supplement.

Or, you may decide that a krill oil supplement provides you with enough additional benefits to justify the additional cost.

Ultimately, the choice is yours but the key is to choose the supplement that is best for your health.
